This letter confirms our telephone conversation today regarding application of Thorocoat at temperatures in
excess of the specification, namely 90 degrees Fahrenheit. As indicated i, Harris Specialty Chemical, Inc. 's letter
of July lg, 199~;, we have successfully applied the product on past projects at temperatures above 90 degrees.
Our personnel have extensiv~ expermnce {n applyfag Thoroseal and Thorocoat and rely on that experience as well
as sound judgment in determ ining the suitability of conditions necessary to properly apply the product. Aside
from temperature, various other factors such as relative humidity, wind speed and ~unlight, alSO impact the
application process. Ultimately, our supe~,isor will evaluate the combination of these factors prior to proceeding
with the work. Furthermore, during the application process, should conditions change in a manner that would be
derrimentaJ to the finished product, the operation will be suspended,
