Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019-4409 Dear Mr. Griffin, Per our discussion at the Development Review Committee meeting on November 6, 1997, HalffAssociates, Inc., on behalf of the owner, requests elimination of the requirement of leR mm lanes for the median openings at the west and central driveways at Northpoint Business Center. The following are the reasons for the exception: · Northpoint Drive is not defined as a divided roadway on the City of Coppell Master Thorouglffare Plan · Current plans indicate that Northpoint will be extended westward to dead end into the service road for S.H. 121~ and the east ends at a park. This, combined with the fact that Sandy Lake Road and Bethel Drive are major east-west thoroughfares, will limit the traffic on Northpoint Drive to local traffic. ·Northpoint Drive is a four lane road, two lanes in each direction, therefore ongoing traffic will not be obstructed by a left mm movement. Based on our discussion with you and our subsequent discussion with the owner, we are withdrawing the request to have an additional median opening at the east driveway of Northpoint Business Center. If you have any questions or require any additional information, please contact Pat Acker or myself. Sincerely, HALFF ASSOCIATES, INC.
