Dear Mr. Barbarisi:
The color of the top coat of the exterior coating system used on the Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir
No. 2 is rejected by the City. The City has verbally directed your field superintendent that the top coat color is
unacceptable. Any additional application of the final exterior coat will be at Natgun's own expense. The
special conditions to the contract documents (SC. 21 A.) states that the final top coat color shall match the
existing exterior coating of the existing reservoir.
Further, on our visit to the jobsite at 2:00 p.m. on May 30, 1996, it was observed that top coat painting was
continuing with ~unbient temperatures above 90 degrees. The special conditions to the contract documents
(SC. 21 B.) states that painting shall take place only when ambient temperatures are between 50 and 90
degrees.
Please provide a top coat color that more closely matches the existing tank along with your schedule for
re-coating the tank. We are availabIe to discuss this matter further at your convenience.
