Dear Mr. Barbarisi:
The intent of this letter is to clarify the City of Coppell's position regarding the color of the exterior coating
system on the Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2. The top coat color of the exterior coating
system applied by Natgun Corporation to the Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2, during the
month of May 1996, was rejected in writing by the City of Coppell on May 30, 1996. The reason for rejection
stated in the letter was that the top coat color did not match the color of the existing ground storage tank as
required by the project specifications.
We would like to further clarify that in our opinion, not only does the top coat color applied by Natgun last
May not match the existing tank, it does not reflect the "# 8587 Buckskin" paint sample shown on the Thoro
System Products color chart submitted to our office for consideration on this project in August of 1995.
We hope this clarifies the City's and our position on this subject. If you have any questions or need additional
