Dear: Mr. Barbarisi
We are in receipt of your fax transmittal dated August 5, 1996, indicating Natgun's desire to apply the tank
coating system in weather conditions other than provided for in the project specifications. You have
explained Natgun's personnel have extensive experience in applying Thorocoat products in temperatures in
excess of 90 degrees, the experience to determine the suitability of applying the product in various weather
conditions, and the ability to suspend the painting operations should conditions be detrimental to the finished
product.
You are hereby directed to proceed with the final application of the exterior coating system on the Village
Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2, in weather conditions at your discretion. However, please be
aware that application of the exterior coating system in weather conditions outside the acceptable range stated
in the contract documents (SC. 21 A.) will be at Natgun's own risk.
