Dear Mr. Griffin:
We are in receipt of change order #7 for the referenced project. As you are aware, EBCC did not
evaluate and provide pricing for the configuration o£the intersection, dated May 21, 2001, that
you have directed EBCC to construct. The price for the stamped concrete is acceptable;
however, the price for the 8" concrete paving within the limits of the stamped concrete pedestrian
crossings will need to be $66.68 per SY. As stated on previous occasions, the work associated
with the Sandy Lake/MacArthur intersection is significantly different than the work priced in the
original contract; therefore, new pricing is required.
Additionally, it is our understanding that the median noses and ADA ramps will be measured and
paid utilizing the stamped concrete pay item.
