This letter shall confn'm our conversation last week concerning our previously submitted
invoice (no. LSP0020101) to the City in the amount of $38,556.64. This invoice covers
design, engineering, and survey-related expenses associated with providing the City a cost
estimate & plans for the adjustment of this high pressure natural gas pipeline to
accommodate improvements to the referenced road project. TXU (Lone Star) has reviewed
your question about general overhead and related expenses, and has agreed to deduct
$4689.04 from the total, leaving a net invoice amount due of $33,867.60.
As you know, TXU worked with your consulting engineers, Kimley Hom Associates,
whereby a compromise was achieved, the City's storm drain plan was revised to eliminate
the conflict, & the road improvements were then accomplished.
At your request, I have enclosed a copy of the easement, a copy of our old pipeline
installation drawing, and the itemized cost detail sheet. Please advise if there is anything
else I can do to assist your review toward payment.
