VILLAGE PARKWAY GROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR NO. 2
The C!ty of Copp~ll is accepting bids for Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2 to be
constructed as a preeast, wire wound, prestressed concrete, AWWA Dll0 Type 111, Ground Storage
Reservoir. Sealed bids addressed to the Purchasing Agent, City of Coppell, Texas, for Village Parkway
Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2 will be received in the Purchasing Office at the City of Coppell ToWn
Center, 225 Parkway Boulevard, until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 1995, and then publicly opened and
read aloud. Each Bidder shall submit two identical copies of this bid with the City Of Coppell Bi~!
No. Q0395-(}1 designated clearly on the exterior of the bid envelope. '.
PropoSals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank, or savings
and loan in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without
recourse to the City of Coppell, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as :a
guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance bond and payment bon:d
within' ten (10) days after notice of award of contnct to him. The notice of award of contract will be
given by the Owner within ninety (90) days following the opening of bids.

The successful bidder must furnish performance bond upon the form provided in the amount of
percelit of the contract price and a material and labor payment bond upon the form provided in the
amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved sttrety company holding a permit from thee
State 0fTexas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Unreasonable or
m~bala~ced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause for rejection of any bid or bids. NO BID
TRANSMITTED BY FAX WILL BE ACCEPTED. ;
Biddebs are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding local conditions
and conditions under which the work is to be done.
Complete sets of bidding docttments must b¢ used in preparing Bids; the City of Copp¢ll assumes no
responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting' from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding
Documents.

Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) per set.
