RE: Village Parkway Pump Station New Six Million Gallon
Reservoir and Site Landscape
Dear Bob:
Per our conversation on Thursday, December 22, 1994, you had
asked questions regarding the construction of the new ground
storage reservoir and the site landscape at the City of Coppell
Village Parkway Pump Station.
I want to first state that the storage reservoir will be built by
a reputable firm and the integrity of this structure will be one
of the most important issues during the design and construction
phases of the project.
Secondly, the landscape features being designed at this stage of
the project will offer live screening on the north and east sides
of the tank structure to allow screening from the residential
structures. I have attached a copy of a letter received from the
Lakes of Coppell Homeowners Association regarding their first
review of the preliminary landscape plans for this project.

The Architectural Review Committee of the Lakes of Coppell Owners' Association met on
Wednesday, November 30, 1994. At this meeting, the Committee reviewed your recent submittal
and made the following comments:
1. City_ of Coppell - Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2 LANDSCAPE PLAN:
Approved with the following conditions:
a. The vegetation in the area between the decorative wrought iron/brick fence and
the wood fence along the east property line will be removed and replaced with
coarse aggregate over a plastic membrane. Steel edging shall be provided around
the perimeter.
