Dear Jim:
I am writing to ask for guidance relative to a matter that I can not seem to get resolved in
our Gateway Business Park. As you may or may not be aware, the City of Coppell has
never formally accepted Freeport Parkway from LBJ Freeway north to Airline Drive.
If my memory serves me correctly, when Catellus landscaped its park a couple of years
ago, this subject came up and it was determined that there were certain punch list items
that Catellus needed to take care of prior to the city accepting Freeport Parkway. We
completed the repairs, however, the city never formally accepted the street.
We have a great deal of activity on the property abutting Freeport Parkway and I am
concerned that any delays in the acceptance of Freeport Parkway by the city will cause
unnecessary delays if we happen to land one of these transactions that we are working on.
Any assistance you can give me on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
