Halff Associates 8616 Northwest Plaza Dr. Dallas, TX 75225 RE: Gateway Business Park Landscaping & Irrigation Plans Dear Mr. Acker.' The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. Separate the median irrigation controllers from the parkway system. 2. If right-of-ways are going to have berms, it will be necessary to adjust utilities to final grade. 3. Please clarify the plant material circled on Sheet L-2A. 4. Multi-trunk crepe myrtles are preferred (refer to Sheet L-3). 5. Irrigation controllers need to be clearly identified. Also, surge protectors, rain sensors and freeze protection sensors should be used. 6. Irrigation should be provided for the median on Gateway Blvd., west of Freeport Parkway (refer to Sheet I-6). 7. Use the City of Coppell's details for 4" double check valve (refer to Sheet 1-10). 8. Make a notation that Gateway Blvd. east of Freeport Parkway is a proposed future street (refer to Sheets L-6, SL-1, I-6 and I-7). 9. Provide a north arrow and scale on Sheet L-8. 10. Wall should be designed by a licensed professional engineer. 11. On Sheet L-5 the street labeled Airline should be labeled Cotton Road. 12. There are various other minor comments throughout these plans. Once these comments .have been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City of review.
