Village Parkway Ground Storage Res. No. 2
Dear: Mr. Barbarisi
At the request of Natgun, an informal walk through was conducted at the Village Parkway Ground Storage
Reservoir No. 2 on September 24, 1996. The walk through was conducted in order to identify incomplete or
defective work, prior to the final walk through on the ground storage tank. As of November 12, 1996, many
of the defects noted have not been repaired. Following is a list of the outstanding work or repairs required:
· Complete the instrumentation panel modifications as shown in the construction plans and noted in the
project Specifications. The High and Low water level indicators and the four engraved annunciator cards
were not furnished and installed.
· Complete repairs to the sprinkler system in the areas noted on the system layout provided by the City.
· Grout and seal the joints for the concrete driveway and curb repairs completed by Natgun.
· Correct erosion problems on the slope near the west side of the existing driveway.
· Seal the joint between the new concrete flume and the existing concrete channel.
· Seal the void between the ground storage tank wall and the sidewalk.
· Seal the void where the level transmitter conduit enters the dome of the ground storage tank.
· Replant the fifty honeysuckle vines with planting beds as shown in the construction plans between the
existing fence posts.
· Reapply the temporary rye hydromulch to the areas where the previous seeding is washed away.
· Furnish and install the Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2 plaque to the location that was indicated by the
City.
