Dear Mr. Sugg:
This letter is written as a follow-up to our July 10, 2001 meeting concerning the design report for
the DeForest Road and Sandy Lake Road Lift Stations and Force Main Improvements. This letter
will serve as your official notice to proceed with the final design per your contract with the City of
Coppell.
The final design will be as per the recommended improvements in Section 7 of the design report.
Those include: Altemative DF1 for the DeForest Lift Station; Alternative SL3 for the Sandy Lake
Lift Station; and Altemative FM8 for the Force Main.
As we discussed in our meeting, several altematives will be explored during the design of the force
main at the southern end of the force main on how it will leave its present alignment and proceed to
its new alignment on MaeArthur Blvd. According to the design report, the estimated construction
cost for the recommended improvements is $2,513,200.
Again, this letter will serve as your official notice to proceed with the final design as discussed in
the design report and identified in this letter. If you have any questions or need additional
