H. Lacy Company stating that the channel grading and grassing will be performed at such time as conditions permit. We feel that this letter will safeguard our interest in these items. It is our understanding that these items are covered by the One Year Maintenance Bond between the Contractor and the City of Coppell. We are confident that the City of Coppell will insure that these items are completed by the Contractor to the City of Coppell's standards and criteria prior to the expiration of the One Year Maintenance Bond. Lacy Company Job Number: 381 Dear Pat: Please be advised that item 11 on the City of Coppell Punch List which is regrade channel can not be finished at this time because bottom is too soft. We have regraded as best we can by hand and no water is backed up at this time. When the bottom dries enough and Owner notifies L. H. Lacy Company that it is needed~ L.H. Lacy Company will rework within three (3) weeks time. As discussed in our phone conversation on December 27~ 1~0, the Bermuda grass required on channel slopes will not grow at this time of year. In mid April of 19~1, we will inspect along with the Owner's Representative and all areas not exhibiting proper Bermuda coverage will be reworked to insure proper coverage. We understand that if we fail to comply within the three (3) week period, the Owner may~ after written notification to L. H. Lacy Company~ hire work performed and back charge to L. H. Lacy Company.
