RE: Coppell Road Design Project #ST 00-03 (from Bethel Road to Sandy Lake Road)
Dear Mr. Roberts:
I have reviewed the preliminary consulting engineer's contract for the design of Coppell Road from
Bethel Road to Sandy Lake Road. I do apologize for the length of time it has taken to respond to
you. We are ready to move forward with the design contract and begin the design of Coppell Road.
The contract, as previously submitted, appears to cover all issues that we discussed during our
meetings with the exception of one. In Basic Services, Part II there needs to be a section that
discusses other permitting requirements. I know that issues surrounding the Antiquities Code and
the process for the Notice of Intent (NOD will need to be addressed with this contract. I have
included what will be paragraph 'G' Pan II, however, I need the detailed description of that task
provided by you. Once that has been included in the contract, please submit a revised contract that
includes compensation. When I have received that we will meet to discuss the contract and then the
contract will be presented to City Council for approval so that the actual design can begin.
