I have contacted Gary Hendricks, of Shimek, Jacobs & Finklea, concerning the request for
qualifications for the second ground storage tank. I have informed Mr. Hendricks that it is the
opinion of the committee that their qualification were ranked #1 by the committee and that we
would like to meet Mr. Hendricks and his support staff to discuss their qualifications and
approach to the project. I have tentatively set a time of 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19th, 1994
to meet with Mr. Hendricks and the design team. If you cannot make this meeting please let
me know no later than April 15th. 1994.
I have informed Mr. Hendricks that if the committee feels comfortable with the team, then we
will immediately proceed with discussion of scope of services and try to negotiate a contract.
