I would like to request that you be a part of a panel being formed to evaluate the request for
qualifications. I would like the panel to consist of Gary Sieb, Steve Goram, Jim Ragsdill, Mike
Martin and myself.

I anticipate taking forward a recommendation for a contract with one of the four firms at the
May 241h City Council meeting. To stay on that schedule, I would like to set up an initial
meeting for 7~dg, y, A'l~ril 5"th, 1'99,~, ~,t 9~) a'ml., in the second floor conference room. At
that meeting, I anticipate narrowing down the list from four to two. Once it has been narrowed
down to two we will call those two firms in on Tuesday, April 261h, 1994 between 1:00 p.m.
and 5:00 p.m. After that meeting, we can determine some meeting times to discuss contractual
arrangements with the firm that we choose to be the most qualified for the design of the second
ground storage tank. If all things fall into place, again I anticipate taldng this to Council on the
May 241h, 1994.
If you should have any questions or problems with the times selected please let me know as soon
as possible.
