Gentlemen:
We've been following with interest the second phase of the ground storage
tanks. The purpose of this letter is reassure you of our interest in designing the project
and to reiterate our unique qualifications for the same.
The first tank that was designed in 1988 had very difficult and unusual soil
conditions to overcome. This tank received national recognition (article attached).
Another tank that we designed for the city of Addison received a national award. This
proven track record speaks for itself regarding our qualification.
The City of Coppell can realize real and significant cost and time savings by
authorizing our firm to design the project under the terms of our existing contract with
the city. You are aware of the time and energy involved in going through the
consultant selection process, followed by the negotiation process for a new consultant
contract.
