RE: Gateway Business Park Replat Blk. 2/Havertys Furniture Co. Roadway Impact Fees
Dear Mr. Schmidt:
Recently, while going through the ~e on fees for Havertys, it was noted that a f'mai
disposition of the Roadway Impact Fees had never been provided to Itavertys. The
Roadway Impact Fees were sent on June 13, 1996 and the City received information from
Catellus on July 12, 1996 about available credits. The letter from Catellus indicates that
they are willing to allocate 12% of their allowable credits to Havertys. Twelve percent of
the bank for Catellus equates to $311,856.00. Based on Resolution//010996.2, ttavertys is
eligible for a credit of 75% of the Roadway Impact Fees if adequate funds are available in
the bank. The total Roadway Impact Fees were $86,074.65, which is far less than the
available fees in the bank. Therefore, Havertys is eligible for a 75% credit. The total
credit will be $64,555.99 and the amount due for the Roadway Impact Fees is $21,518.66.
Please make payment to the City of Coppell in the amount of $21,518.66 and forward the
check to Jennifer Armstrong, Finance Director along with a copy of this letter.
I apologize for the time delay in providing this information to you. It was strictlY an
oversight on my part in closing out the fees on Havertys. If you should have any questions
please do not hesitate to contact thin office.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E
