Gateway BP(1.1)-CS 900802 GATEWAY BUSINESS PARK Site Meeting - Thursday, August 2, 1990 10:30 a.m. SUMMARY OF MEETING Participants: Wayland Threadgill Catellus Development Corporation (Catellus) Pat Acker Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc. (AHHA) Michael Johnson Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc. Bob Dygen Terra-Mar (Terra) Bill Jones L.H. Lacy Company (Lacy) Clyde Murray Murray Construction Co. (Murray) Larry Davis City of Coppell (Coppell) AHHA: For any surveying, we need three days notice to schedule a crew and check there notes must be checked in the office before using the stakes for construction. Murray: Agreed. AHHA: Terra-mar needs 24 hours notice. Call the dispatcher to schedule testing every day. Terra: We need to get proctors of all native materials as soon as possible. Murray: We will dig three holes fight after this meeting to get proctors of all encountered materials. AHHA: The stock pile for the south ditch needs to be lowered. We need the prices for the channel grassing, and the additional 16" valve. There will also be added a couple of irrigation conduits under Cotton as an extension of the contract prices. We win also need prices to install conduit and pull boxes for the underground electrical system and street lights. A plan of the underground eleectric system and street lights will be provided for pricing. Jim Stufflebeam will be the normal inspector, and if he can't make it then Pat Acker or Michael Johnson will be inspecting. Need to keep the job site cleaned up. We understand Murray is expecting to shorten construction time by about five(5) weeks. None of the stock piles of excavated material from the drainage channel will be used as backfill except in the futUre for the drainage ditch fill. Our specifications require densities of backfill to be taken every 100 foot every other 8" lift. Pat believes the City of Coppell requires every 300 foot. Once things get going and everything looks alright, we will relax our specifications to the City's requirements. Lacy will need to notify SDHPT, Minyard's, and the City of Coppell of the shut down of Cotton Road. All fuel storage will need to be kept in one area. The area will be tested at the end of the job. Do not dump the off from any off changes on the ground. Lacy: No problems. Catellus: No problems. Terra: We will get the proctors this afternoon, since they are digging the test holes now. Coppell: The stockpiled sand backfill has been rejected from the stand point of the sand stone that is in it. It is very large and unbreakable. Murray will use what he can from that stockpile then switch sand pits. No sand stone will be allowed in the ditch next to the pipe. Terra: We will need a new proctor for the new sand pit. If there are any big pieces in the ditch, I will make note of it and call AHHA. Coppell: We test the water valve to valve. Murray may have to set some extra taps to do that.
