Dear Mr. Griffin:
We need a letter signed by an official of the City of Coppell accepting the signal improvements
for CMAQ Project 75 on Belt Line Road in your City. This letter is necessary for TxDOT and the
County to close-out this project. Attached please find a letter dated July 21, 1999 from Mr.
Don Cranford, a letter from our office dated April 6, 1999 and a sample letter to assist in this
effort.
We request you place the sample letter on your letterhead and return a signed copy to this
office upon receipt of this letter.

Dear Mr. Griffin:
Mr. Ivan Nicodemus, Program Manager for the Dallas County CMAQ office sent a letter request and
draft letter to you on April 6, 1998 requesting a close-out letter for Project 75. A copy of Ivan's letter is
attmched for your review. We have searched our files and cannot find a close-out letter from your City.
We request you prepare on your letterhead a letter (similar to the draft letter) and return to our offices
upon receipt of this letter. In the event you previously sent a close-out letter, we request you redevelop a
letter and send to our offices. This letter is necessary for us to finalize this project.
