Gateway BP(1.1)-CS 900712 IlL[ Bil? GINN, INC. CONSULTING ENGINEERS July 12, 1990 Ms. Shohre Daneshmand, P.E. City of Coppell P.O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Gateway Business Park - Phase I - Engineering Plan Approval Dear Ms. Daneshmand: We are transmitting herewith five sets of engineering plans for the subject project to be stamped "approved as noted". These plans have been picked up at our offices by Albert H. Halff and Associates, Inc. and transported to you by them. As per a conversation between myself and Mr. Patrick L. Acker, P.E., of Halff Associates, he is also bringing five offsite drainage area maps for inclusion with the approved plans. The reason for the "approved as noted" stamp on the plans is that I have marked the temporary ditches with notes indicating that full grass lining will be required for erosion control. This notation only applies to these five sets since any further sets submitted by Halff Associates shall have been revised accordingly prior to stamping approved. This is a little out of the ordinary, but is not an uncommon practice when time is of the essence. Mr. Acker and myself have discussed this approach and are in agreement on using it on these five sets only. You will need to retain 3 sets for the City's use and return 2 sets to Halff Associates for their use. Please call me if you have any questions. Karlsruher, P.E. Senior Engineer attachments cc.: H.
