RE: Freepo~ Parkway - City of Coppell
The pu~ose of this letter is to update you on the status of our design of Creekview Drive.
We received an e-mail from you on Augus~ 22"~ containing Paving Plan-Profile Sheet
C-2.2 for FreepoA Parkway. I am enclosing a copy of the Site Plan for Phase II of Wagon
~eel Park. Wagon ~eel Park sits to ~he west of S~ate Road and to the no~h of our
proposed Creekview Drive. The shaded area shows the limits of Phase II construction
which is cu~ently out to bid. Phase II includes the construction of three soccer fields to
be constructed in the southeast comer of Ihe park prope~y.
I am also enclosing two sheets showing two proposed alignments for Creekview Drive.
Sheet 1 shows our proposed alig~ent based on the median opening location shown on
the plan that we received from you. ~is alig~ent puts the right-of-way within 1 ~ feet
of the comer of the proposed soccer field. Sheet 2 shows an alternate alig~ent with the
median opening along Freepo~ Parkway shi~ed ~o the South. This alig~ent provides a
safer distance between the proposed soccer fields and the proposed roadway. It was our
understanding wi~h the City that S~ would design the imersecfion of Creekview Drive
and Freeport P~kway. I would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience so that
we can coordinate ~he location of ~he intersection.
