I was with my two-year-old daughter, which did not make the situation any more fun for me! After I stopped I noticed a city vehicle driving past and motioned for help. The workers explained that they were not involved in the road construction but did phone their supervisor who said he would come by to assess the situation. The gentlemen then waited until he arrived. I felt a little guilty but very appreciative that these men took time out of their busy schedule to make sure that I was taken care of. I wish I had their names so I could thank them. When the supervisor, Mr. Garreth Campbell, arrived he was so very kind and helpful. The city workers were still there and told him about the situation. It was too hot to keep my daughter in the car and the street was so busy. Mr. Campbell offered to change my flat so I could keep Anna out of trouble. I know this is not part of his job description and certainly did not fit conveniently into a hectic work day. Coppell has some very thoughtful and professional people working for us. What could have been a really rotten day for me turned out to be a chance to remember that there are many good people in the world. This is a perfect example of the benefit of living in a smaller community and what my family hoped Coppell would be like when we chose to move here. Thank you for taking time to hear my story, Kathy Jones
