Dear Mr. Griffin:
Transmitted herewith for your review are two sets of site construction plans for the referenced
project. Architectural plans for the Kroger store are being developed at this time. Current plans
call for construction of the site improvements under a separate contract from the store itself. This
procedure is used from time to time by The Kroger Co. to get an early start on construction.
The attached plans include a landscape plan that has been revised to reflect the comments of the
Planning & Zoning Commission with regard to the use of larger trees behind the store. Irrigation
plans are being developed at this time, as are final site lighting plans. These will be forwarded as
soon as they are complete. I wanted you to have as much time as possible to review the site
development plans in order that we might have all major comments addressed by the date of the
City Council meeting of Sept. 12, 1995.
I have also attached an exhibit that show, s the drainage areas affectim, MacArthur Blvd. , The
exhibit demonstrates that the total runoffdischarging into MacArthur Bl~d. is less than the s~stem
was originally designed to handle. ' ,,~
