The answers ~o the questions in Mr. Baha~s letter to Ken Griffin dated
April 10th are as follows:
1. How many shutdo~a%s are proposed? Two shutdowns are proposed. The
first will acco~%~odate one lowering and the second will accommodate
the last two lowerings.
2. What date(s) is/are scheduled for the shutdowns to begin? The first
shutdo~n is scheduled for Monday, April 16th and the second shutdown is
schedule for Monday, April ~3rd. These dates can shift somewhat as
necessar~ to accommodate D~R3, Flower ~oLu%d, and L~RWD. It is our
understanding ~hat ~/TR~rD is currently shutting do~a~ their system on
Tuesdays for one clay at a time for system upgrades. Our D~K3 line
shutdown cannot OCCUr at the same ti~e as UTR~rD's shutdown, since those
are the only ~wo water supplies to Flower ~o~nd. Please coordinate the
shutdowns with Flower Mound and UTRWD.
3. What is the duration o~ the shutdowns? The first shutdown will be
for 24 hours to accommodate one lowering tie-in. The second shutdown,
with Uwo lowering tie-ins, will require 48 hours.
