ST9302-CS010410 (2) CITY OF DALLAS April 10, 2001 Mr. Ken Griffin, P.E. City of Coppell 255 Parkway Boulevard Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Sandy Lake Road - DWU Contract No. 98-311F/312F DWU 30" Water Mm Relocation Dear Mr. Griff'm: In a meeting held on January 30, 2001 at the City of Coppell, the contractor proposed a 60-day completion for the remaining 30" water relocations. It was stated by DWU that April 1,2001 was the latest date for a shutdown. After this date, any shut downs will be critical because it will directly affect the Town of Flower Mound's water supply. We received a copy of M-CO Construction's proposed schedule for the remaining three 30" water mare relocations on April 4, 2001 and was forwarded to Wholesale Services for their review. Wholesale Services discussed the proposed schedule with Town of Flower Mound personnel. In order to coordinate with multiple water supply construction activities that are already scheduled in Flower Mound, the following information is required: 1. How many shutdowns are proposed (1 shutdown for 3 tie-ms or 3 separate shutdowns for each tie- m)? 2. What date is scheduled for the shutdown(s) to begin? 3. What is the duration of the shutdown(s)? All work as approved by DWU (i.e. pipe installation, testing, shut downs, tie-ms) must be completed by May 1, 2001 with no exceptions, as directed by DWU's Assistant Director of Water Operations. Please provide the requested reformation as soon as possible. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me at (214) 948-4388.
