Thank you for meeting with Ed Cowling and me on October 2, 2000. In our
meeting we discussed options for providing sewer service to the Lesley Tract.
One consideration discussed was laying a future 12" line at a minimum grade
form the 15" main in Belt Line Road. Attached is a concept plan showing
extension of a 12" line along the north line of the Lesley tract at a minimum
0.20% grade. Based on this preliminary plan, it appears we can make the sewer
system work by going over the future storm drainpipe system as demonstrated
by Detail "A" on the attached exhibit. The clearances over the storm drain would
require transitioning to a 3' high double box section in lieu of a typical single 6'
box section.
This is not a final plan and we know you cannot give us a final approval on this
preliminary exhibit. We would ask that you review the concept and minimum
pipe grade and advise us if you see any issue the City has with the Concept.
