Dear Mr. Jordan:
Thank you for your letter dated September 25, which I received last Friday. I have reviewed your
letter and would like to clarify two areas, though, in order to avoid any confusion regarding the
development of the property.
First of all regarding the Section 380 Program, the City has entered into one 380 agreement with
an end user. It has not to date entered into any 380 agreement with any developers or property
owners. While we would consider reviewing such a proposal, it is our philosophy that the end user
generates the final valuation and sales tax and would be the appropriate party to enter into any
agreement with.
Secondly regarding the signalization of Belt Line, we have entered into cost sharing agreements on
various projects in the City regarding signalization. Depending upon the potential users of thc
property, that would once again be a determining factor with regard to any cost sharing proposals.
Once again we look forward to working with you on the development of the Lesley property, and
stand ready to assist you in any way possible.
R¢'Soectfully,
C! .y Manager
