Dear Mr. Griffin:
It is our understanding that the City of Coppell has requested that two additional 16" gate valves
be installed to isolate portions of the existing 16" water line. Our utility subcontractor, M-Co
Construction, has submitted the following prices to cut those valves into the existing RCCP or DI
water line:
1. Additional cost to cut-in 16" gate valve on RCCP line $4,300.00
2. Additional cost to cut-in 16" gate valve on ductile iron pipe $3,900.00
Please note that these prices are for extra work only and that the gate valve and vault would still
need to be paid utilizing pay item #94 - 16" M.J. Gate Valve and Vault. Please add an additional
eight calendar days to the project's duration for the two additional valves.
