Dear Ken:
We have revised the Final Plat and the Engineering Plans for the
referenced addition consistent with the comments in your letter
dated October 9, 1992. Please find below an itemized listing of
those changes made to the plans as requested by you and your staff:
1. Top of manhole elevations have been provided for all
manholes on Sheets 5, 6, and 7.
2. The cross-section detail on the Drainage Area Map (Sheet
8) has been revised as requested.
3. We have evaluated the intersection of Alley E and
Hollywood Drive (formerly Tealwood Drive) and feel an
alley inlet is not necessary. The runoff discharging
from Alley E is 6.7 cfs, which is less than the alley
capacity of 8.1 cfs. Additionally, the total runoff in
Hollywood Drive north of the sag point inlet (9.1 cfs) is
less than the gutter capacity of 9.3 cfs. Since our
design as shown meets the City's drainage design
guidelines, we feel an additional inlet should not be
required.
4. This item concerned the Tract A sewer plans, and does not
apply to this submittal. Please note that the
realignment of the existing 27" sanitary sewer line now
shown on these plans is consistent with the alignments
approved by the MUD.
5. This item concerned the Tract A storm sewer plans and do
not apply to this submittal.
6. Additional information regarding the pilot channel design
has been shown on Sheet 12 as requested.
7. The note on Sheet 13 has been revised as requested by
eliminating the option to seed the top of bank.
8. The outfall of Line D-3 has been moved 10 feet to the
east to increase the distance from the pads on Lots 20
and 21, Block D.
9. The notes for positive overflow at all low points have
been revised on the FHA Grading Plan sheets as requested.
I have enclosed three sets of revised plans for your review.
If there are any additional comments regarding this project, please
call me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to working
with you toward a successful completion of this development.
Sincerely,
Eric.
