On behalf of our client, Waymon Levell, President of LOC ESTATES,
LTD., we respectfully request that a grading permit be issued for
the referenced addition. The preliminary plat for this addition
(see attached) has been approved by the Planning and Zoning
Commission, and the City Council of Coppell. We are currently
preparing the Final Plat and Engineering Plans for this addition
and are scheduled to submit them to you for your review by the end
of the month.
It is our intent to begin importing fill to this site
(approximately 60,000 cubic yards) in order to provide adequate
grade for drainage consideration. A portion of this site contains
floodplain which will not be filled. Only that portion of the site
outside any floodplain areas will be filled.

Also included with this grading permit is a letter from Alpha
Testing, Inc. indicating that the imported fill is suitable for
this residential development.
We will be notifying both contractors that the safety and
cleanliness of this site and the existing streets shall be their
responsibility. All construction activities will be monitored by
Keith Jackson and Alpha Testing, Inc. with copies of all compaction
reports being submitted to you for your review.
It is our intent to begin this work within the next two weeks and
should take approximately forty (40) days to complete. A
preconstruction meeting has been recommended by Mr. Larry Davis of
your office and should be scheduled immediately after approval of
this request.
