RE: First Construction Review Comments for Lot 5, Blk 1
Sonic - MacArthur Addition
Dear Mr. Jackson:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Show right-of-way dedication for deceleration lane on the final plat.
2. Include a cover sheet with next set of plans.
3. The general note on the paving plan under item 8 does not make sense. Please clarify what
you are stating.
4. Remove the paving details. Please refer to the City of Coppell Standard Construction
Details for any paving construction.
5. Provide a subgrade design with the next set of plans. Also, the Sonic is showing a 4" curb
instead of a six inch curb required.
6. On the drainage area map, show the flow arrows for area "C".
7. On the utility plan, remove the note "by others" for the fire line. Also change th6 fire line
size to a 6" line like the notes are showing. The 6" fire line will be C-900 instead of SCH
40.
8. Provide a grease trap, waste water access device, and clean outs.
9. Provide a double check for the irrigation meter.
9. Provide silt fences along MacArthur Blvd. also.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
