A FLOOR SURFACE ANALYSIS
LOCATION SURVEYED : Slab on Grade, E.5 to K and 5 to 8
Placement 3
APPROXIMATE AREA : 9,000 sf
ASTM STANDARD :ASTM E 1155
INSTRUMENT USED : 'E)ipstick", manufactured by Face Technologies;
Norfolk, Virginia
SAMPENG METHOD : Point elevations were measured at regular 12 inch intervals along
straight lines up to 31 feet in length, The elevation differences between all adjacent reading points, the
arithmetic differences between all adjacent 12 inch elevation differences, and the elevation differences
between all points separated 10 feet were then calculated. Estimates of the floor's flal~ess and level-
ness F-Numbers (Ff & FI) were obtained through a statistical analysis of these calculated profile values.
The tabular data is available upon request.
