Dear Mr. Griff'm,
Thanks for meeting with us yesterday regarding the above referenced project. I wanted
to confu'm the agreed engineering changes we discussed. As I understand it, the
following would be allowed:
1) In the private parking areas and fire lane only, the City will allow
an extra inch of 3,000 PSI concrete or 4,000 PSI concrete in lieu of
a lime stabilization;
2)In the deceleration, an 8" layer of Flex Base may be substituted for
lime stabilization; and
3) The 8" fire line, as it approaches the northeast corner of the
property, may be directed southward in front of the building within
the fire lane and looped back into itself on the south side of the
property. This will eliminate the double check and vault on the
north end of property. It is roughly depicted on the attached plan.
A new sheet will be provided by the Civil Engineer for this
change.
