Dear Steve:
Attached are copies of correspondence we recently received
regarding the parking lot material revisions from concrete to
brick pavers requested for the above referenced project.
We have no objections to this re~est provided the applicant
install the brick pavers per the manufacturer's specifications.
We do advise that a minimum 95% standard density be achieved on
the subgrade courses per the ASTM-698 test method.
We feel that since this type of business demands efficient
ingress/egress on a daily basis, that should any problems arise
they shall give it their i~ediate attention as the city would
expect of them.
You might re~est of them that an extended maintenance bond be
provided to the City for all fire lane areas. With the level of
comfort they have with this material as stated in Mr. Greer's
letter, this should not be a problem for them.
Please call if you should have any ~estions.
Sincerely,
KP/dsp
