Dear Mr. Hollowell:
We have completed estimates for modifications to the above listed crossings in conjunction with
the Belt kine Road widening Droject. As discussed, existing control equipment at. each of the
three crossings does not allow for traffic Signal interconnect with advance preemption
capabilities. If the City determines that advance preemption is needed at each of the crossings,
all new control equipment must be installed with costs estimated as follows:
Moore Road $120,000
Mockingbird lane $120,000
MacArthur Boulevard $150,000
lotal Project Estimate $300,000
If advance preemption is not required, the estimated cost for installing new side Ii§his to face
Belt kine Road would bO $7,500 per location for a total of $22,800.
The above estimates do not include Cost for relocation of existing gates or cantilevers.
