Subject: Coordination on Beltline Road Issues.
David and Ken, An issue came up last week, and we need your help
TXU recently asked our Commissioner and a former Commissioner for help to get some kind of traffic
light at the road leading into their facility. We would like your traffic engineer folks to come to a meeting
we will hold with Coppell, Dallas and the County. I'm sure this issue has been looked at before, but we
would like the traffic experts to see if some kind of light is warranted by traffic counts, or if it is not. John
Mears is waiting until he gets a formal request from TXU, and then he will call a meeting and try to look at
the issue. Could you pis assure some one can attend, so we can work this out to the satisfaction of all?
Ken, We are also wondering how you guys are coming along with the Billingsly property. We're okay until
1 August, at which time it will begin impacting Zachery's progress. Pis let us know if there is anything you
need us to do to keep this acquisition process moving along.
Ken, John also asked me to request a meeting regarding Sandy Lake Road. We would like to wrap up
our design contract with Sverdrup. We understand you have a couple of issues that have come up that
might mean somewhat signficant design changes. We need to know how you want to handle it --just
close out our design or provide us more funds and have Sverdrup complete the changes you're
contemplating? Pis let us know when you can meet to get that wrapped up.
