RE: Northlake Industrial Park - 27 Acre Tract
Subject: Erosion and Sedimentation Complaint
Dear Mr. Thompson:
This letter serves as a follow-up to our meeting held on April 16, 1993 at 8:30 a.m., in City Hall.
In attendance were Ed Spalding of 245 E. Bethel, John Young of 236 E. Bethel, Mike Daniel and
Mike Garrett of Nathan D. Maier Engineering, you, and myself.
As per our discussion during the meeting, please provide me with a plan of action addressing
resident's erosion complaints associated with grading, higher peak flows, and other related activities
on your tract of land. As you know, Mr. Spalding and Mr. Young have indicated the natural stream
banks in their back yards have eroded away due to drainage outfalls with increased velocity, caused
by higher discharge rates.
Please provide an Erosion and Sedimentation Control (ESC) plan in compliance with the ESC
Ordinance g91514, along with your written response, for staff's review and comment no later than
May 6, 1993. Your timely attention to this matter is greatly appreciated..
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me at (214)393-1016.
Sincerely,. '~ 0~.~.~'i~~
