Dear Sir:
The City of Coppell will be accepting bids on the referenced project prior to October 27, 1997
at 10:130 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The Scope of Work is generally as follows:
This project will consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 7,250 square
feet of sidewalk. Depending on the price bid per square foot, this mount could increase
to 8,.800 square feet of sidewalk to be replaced. The sidewalks exist sporadically
throughout the City of Coppeil as identified on the attached "Request for Service for
Sidewalk Repair". Generally, the work shall consist of the removal of the existing 4 inch
thick concrete sidewalk, disposal of the sidewalk and replacement with a new 4 inch
thick sidewalk with #3 reinforcing steel on a sand base in accordance with the City of
Coppell Standard Details for sidewalk construction. All removals will be to the nearest
joint and any damage to the existing landscape, including the grass, will be considered
subsidiary to the prices bid per square foot for the sidewalksreplacement.
