Mobil Sta MacA-CS 890605 DALLAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS June 5, 1989 / Mr. Mostafa Setayesh The Dimension Group, Inc. 3455 Highland Road, Suite 100 Dallas, Texas 75228 ~. . /~___ Re: Belt Line Road Projects 490-402 and 403 ...... (MacArthur Boulevard to I.H. 35E) Dear Mr. Setayesh: In response to your Memorandum of May 30, 1989, detailing our meeting discussing the proposed construction of the Mobil Station at the Belt Line Road-MacArthur Boulevard intersection we offer the following clarifications: 1. Mobil Oil Corporation shall request through the City of Coppell for the concrete driveway approach to be constructed concurrent with the roadway improvements. Mobil Oil or the City of Coppell must fund the cost of this construction. The cost of the concrete driveway approach based on our contract unit price is approximately $1800.00. 2. The statement that the approach along Belt Line Road will not be closed during construction does not address the comments made relative to construction of the approach. The concrete approach will be constructed in two phases so that the approach will not be closed. However, that means the width will be reduced to approximately 18 feet during the construction. 3. The increase in radius size was a comment and not a requirement of Dallas County. The comment was based on the dimensions shown on our construction plans prepared by Ginn, Inc. which depicted the subject driveway approach as future construction by others. It was our understanding that the future work was based on site plans filed and approved by the City of Coppell. We trust you will forward our clarifications to your contact person at Mobil Oil. Should you have any questions, please contact me. Sincerely, Project Engineer ABB: lc ~/~/ cc: Russell Doyle, City Engineer, City, of Coppell, P.O.
