Mobil Sta MacA-CS 890531 MOBIL STATION MacArthur @ Belt Line Rd. (Daily Report) 5/31/89: Meeting at 2:30 p.m. with Utility Contractor to discuss existing sanitary sewer manhole. Contractor made a determination that the section of sanitary sewer to be laid would not match the flow line of the exiting sanitary sewer manhole. T.R.A. 6/1/89:1~30 p.m. Grade conflict with existing sewer manhole must be corrected. Instructions to utility contractor are to stop work in that area and contact the Project Engineer for Mobil for any adjustments in grades on the sanitary sewer. 6/2/89:2:30 p.m. Utility Contractor laying sanitary sewer main and poured one sewer manhole in place according to the plans for the Mobil Station development. Utility Contractor Foreman, Bob Bullard, informed me that the grade conflict had been corrected by the Project Engineer. Lime inspection also taking place on parking lot area. 6/6/89: Utility Contractor laying 8" sanitary sewer stub out east of new sewer manhole on Belt Line Road. Also made 1 1/2" water tap to exiting water main on MacArthur. Building Contractor processing lime inspected subgrade in parking area. 6/15/89: Contractor working on site grading of parking area. 6/19/89: Paving Contractor setting forms and steel for interior parking area. Approved one section of subgrade and forms for concrete paving. 6/20/89: Utility Contractor compacting ditch lines and taking densities over utility excavation. Paving Contractor poured section of concrete parking area. 6/21/89~ Utility Contractor ran P.S.I. test on 12" water main. 6/22/89~ One water sample taken on 12" water main 6, Utility Contractor. 6/26/89~ Utility Contractor setting water meter box. 6/27/89: Utility Contractor making air test and mandrel test on sanitary sewer installation. Water sample returned ok/acceptable. Utility Contractor working on installation of 6" drain from inside Mobil Station to the existing 30" R.C.P.. Connection location in question. Requested contractor to contact the Engineer for Mobil to discuss the problem and possible relocation. Page 2 of 2 6/28/89~ llt00 a.m. Meeting at job site to discuss connection location of 6" drain from Mobil Station to existing 30" R.C.P.. I contacted Howard Pafford to turn on existing water valve to new section of 12" water main. 6/29/89: Problem with sanitary sewer service to the Mobil Station. Utility Contractor did not place 4" service stub out on main for service connection. 6/30/89: No work by Utility Contractor or Paving Contractor. 12" water main placed in service by Water Department. 7/3/89: No work on job site. 7/5/89= No work on Job site. 7/?/89: Paving Contractor getting forms for 4" sidewalk and one drive approach. 7/11/89: Paving Contractor poured 4" sidewalk and one drive approach. ?/12/89: Paving Contractor continues to set forms for concrete paving in parking area. ?/13/89: Paving Contractor poured one drive approach at Belt Line Road. 7/14/89: Contractor excavating at sanitary sewer manhole to instal one 4" sewer tap connection on the east side of sewer manhole. 9:00 a.m. Meeting with representatives from the City of Coppell, Dallas County, and Mobil to discuss temporary drive approach construction at Belt Line Rd. over box culvert being constructed by Dallas County. 7/14/89: 4" sanitary sewer tap east of the sanitary sewer manhole on the 8" sewer main completed. ?/17/89= Contractor backfilling around sanitary sewer tap and sanitary sewer manhole at the northeast corner of project. ?/18/89: Contractor working on backfill around sanitary sewer manhole at the northeast corner of project. 7/19/89: Contractor made the asphalt tie-in from the concrete drive approach to the existing asphalt on Belt Line. ?/20/89: Contractor completed backfill around the sanitary sewer manhole at the northeast corner of project. ?/21/89: Contractor working on final cleanup of job site. ?/31/89~ A temporary C.O. to be issued for the opening of the Mobil Station per my letter to Mr. Jim Nelson with Mobil Oil outlining construction details to be completed at a later date.
