Suite 375 Hurst, Texas 76054 RE: Minyards: Expansion of Distribution Warehouse Construction Plans Dear Mr. Fluitt: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. The city does not require Standard Details to be attached to construction plans. Please provide a note stating that all work shall conform with the City of Coppell Standard Details. 2. Provide a drainage area map showing the runoff of each area. Also show drainage and detention basin computations. 3.The following items must be addressed by the fire department. a) Fire lane width b) Proposed fire lane pavement around the rear of the building. c) The requirement of fire hydrants around the rear of the building adjacent to proposed fire lane. 4. Provide a plan and profile sheet showing the depth of existing storm sewer system. Also, show where the proposed curb inlets will connect. 5. The note for concrete paving needs to indicate that the concrete will be reinforced concrete with//3 rebars on 24" centers. 6. Provide an erosion control plan showing the location of a stabilized construction entrance and location of perimeter siltation fence. 7.Provide a dimensional control plan showing existing and proposed pavement. 8. Landscape islands will be required in the parking areas as per the City of Coppell Zoning Ordinances. Contact Greg Jones, Chief Building Official at 304-3500 if you have any questions. There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
