Dear Mr. Ratliff:
In accordance with our discussions with Mr. Wayne Ginn, the City's
consultant, we have prepared this proposal for providing construc-
tion administration for construction of Bethel Road Drainage
Improvements from the Post Office Site to Freeport Parkway. Two
copies of this proposal are enclosed. We prepared the construction
plans for both this project as well as the Royal Lane Pavement from
LBJ to Bethel Road.
We propose to provide the following services:
A. Review shop drawings;
B. Review test results;
C. Review and approve contractor applications for payment;
D. Make periodic visits to the site to monitor general contract
compliance;
E. Resolve claims, disputes and other matters between the
contractor and the City;
F. Attend meetings as requested by Minyard's, the project in-
spector and City officials;
G. Provide other services as requested.
We propose to provide these services on an hourly rate basis in
accordance with the attached rate schedule provided the project is
completed within 365 days (contract time for construction is 230
days).

Subcontract services such as, but not limited to, materials testing
will be provided on a cost plus 10% basis. Payment for authorized
services will be due upon presentation of our monthly statements for
such services.
