Re: Landscape plan revi S North Texas Mail Processin

Mr. Jackson:
Enclosed please find a sketch which describes the proposed landscape plan
revisions for the above-referenced project. This sketch is transmitted for your
review and comment. We have already reviewed this with Richard Diano and he
suggested we send it to you as well.
The reason for making this change at this time is twofold. First, officials from
the Explorer Pipeline Utility have indicated to us that they will not allow trees
to be planted within or immediately adjacent to their 20' easement which runs
through the site. (Please note the location of this easement on the attached
plan.) Second, there is now an overhead power line which is located along the
east right-of-way line for Royal Lane. It is our opinion that planting trees
"under" such a power line will only cause problems in the future. Therefore, all
of the trees which are currently shown on contract documents as being within the
above-described areas of conflict have been appropriately relocated as shown on
the attached plan.
The landscape contractor for this project has begun his work on-site and hopes to
complete his tree planting efforts within the next several weeks. Thus, an
immediate response from your office to this proposed change would be greatly
appreciated.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not
hesitate to call.~/
Sincerely,
Vince R.~ ETqwood
