RE:
Postal Facility Site - Sanitary Sewer Service/
Status on Existing Sewer Line (Tickler 1/27/89)
I have some concerns about the existing line accepting the flows
from the force main. The existing line on Bethel Rd. is an 8"
and it has two 90° turns in it prior to crossing Coppell Road.
The' line sewers Lock Lane and Nisbett Drive, as well as the homes
located on Bethel, west of Coppell Rd. before crossing Coppell
Road. If there is a problem with this line accepting the flows
from the proposed force main and a stoppage occurred, I could
forsee a serious problem.
Additionally, per your request, I have investigated the idea of
using the sanitary sewer line in which Minyards discharges into
near the railroad. I feel that this would be a better line to
discharge the sewer from the force main. The line is larger in
size and it would be more capable of handling this flow. However,
I have not been able to locate an easement for this line, but I
feel it is worth looking into.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please advise.
