RE: Bethel Road Deterioration from Postal entry to 121
Steve, on March 11, 1988 I contacted A.A. Ison, Program Developer
Manager for United States Postal Service. I informed him that
the ongoing deterioration problem of Bethel Road caused by
Weir Brothers dirt moving operations, in which I have discussed
with Roy Prince and he has brought forward in several of their
monthly construction meetings, still has not been resolved.
I informed him that we have received many complaints by people
utilizing Bethel Road and that the problems have to be resolved
today. I also told him that we want the road patched with
asphalt and in one area, the road will have to be leveled prior
to the placement of asphalt as I have stated to Roy Prince
many times.
A.A. Ison said he was at the site on March 10, 1988, and on
his way to the airport he observed the road conditions as I
stated above. He said he would see what could be done and
get back to me today. I then told him these situations must
be resolved today or the City will take further action to see
that Bethel Road is repaired.
If I have not beard from A.A. Ison by 2:00 p.m. today, I will
