NE: Bethel Rd. U.S. Postal Facility/Royal Ln. Project
We are already experiencing rapid pavement deterioration on Bethel Rd. west
of Royal Lane. This is being directly caused by the construction activities
tx}ing ~rform~d on the titled project. Heavy trucks are bringing in materials
i.,~ Iha~ project on that segment of Bethel. The condition and type of the road
.~. f,,,-~w~ l~o be poor and in knowing this, provisions should have been made (if
~,! i Io repair related deterioration. The Street Dept. does not have the re-
so~t~es to deal with this situation. In the ~IEOG Specifications for Public
!.'3~l,s Construction "the contractor shall assume all duties o~ed by the owner
{o ~m general public in connection with the general public's in~nediate approach
to and travel through the work site and the area adjacent to said work site".
