Minutes of Meeting Held October 26, 1989
Present: Larry Davis- City of Coppell, Richard Winger- Sverdrup,
Roy Prince- Sverdrup, Danny Buckelew, Buckelew Construction, Robin
Reed- SGGCI, Bo Woodard- DRT, Jerry Davis- GTE, Glenn Fabian- TU
Electric, Barbara Boone- City of Coppell
ITEM 1: Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Larry
Davis at 2:07 p.m.. Meeting held at USPS's facility/trailer.
ITEM 2: Sign in Sheet - Every signed in on the sign in sheet,
acknowledge their name and their employer's name.
ITEM 3: Plans - all noted each party had correct set of plans. No
one needed additional copies.
ITEM 4: Utility Companies
A) Jeff with/MUD unavailable- but need to give him
a call 24 hours prior to tie in.
B) Jerry Davis with GTE - all lines located / okayed
C) Glenn Fabian with TU - all lines located / okayed
ITEM 5: Boring Permit - Danny Buckelew with Buckelew Construction
instructed he needed to see Per Birdsall, City of Coppell Street
Superintendent to get a boring permit (no cost involved).
Bore needs to be grouted (in sections) carrier pipe. Dry bore with
casing.
ITEM 6: Inspection
A) Larry Davis informed all parties inspection held twice
a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
B) Any overtime work needed must be submitted in writing
to the City Engineer and be paid by the Contractor.
C) Work all weekends and holidays was discouraged.
D) Contractors/Sub-Contractor must notify at least 24 hours
before water/sanitary sewer/storm sewer/paving
construction begins.
ITEM 7: Testing of Materials
A) Gravity Flow ask to Air Test, Televise Manhole to
Manhole (Triple III to Film & Submit to Larry Davis,
Inspector- not confirmed, if Applicable)

B) Submit Concrete Design (Redi Mix)
- Danny Buckelew pays for testing
C) All tests need to be copied to the Inspector- Larry
Davis.
ITEM 8: Water Utilities- Howard Pafford, Utilities Superintendent
A) Notice on 16" water- 24 hour notice to locate
B) 22 degree end / 10 degree
C) Find existing clean out- mandatory
-Do away with clean out, instead leave a plug out;
Larry Davis okayed.
