J. PARKS AND RECREATION

existing neighborhood park.
( ) 3. The Parks and Recreation Department remains
concerned about the amount of residential
development in the area w~th no resultant increase
in park land.
( ) 4. Dedication of land to the City for a neighborhood
park would protect the quality of life in the
community and increase the value of residential
property in the area. It is recommended that
acres be dedicated to the City of Coppell for a park
area.
( ) 5. It is often necessarv to remove trees and other
plant material on the development s~te and thereby
deplete the natural resources of the local
env~ornment. Consultation with a landscape
architect is recommended to plan and provide
landscaped areas which will contribute to the
ecological balance of the enviornment, provide
visual, buffering, and enhance the beautification of
Coppell.
